Yes. You can choose from preset ratios like 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16, and many others, or enter any custom ratio. The crop box will automatically maintain the ratio as you adjust it.

Does cropping reduce image quality?

Cropping itself does not reduce quality — it simply removes pixels outside the selected area. The remaining pixels are untouched. However, if you crop a very small area, the resulting image will have fewer pixels and may appear lower resolution when displayed at large sizes.

Can I crop and resize at the same time?

The Crop tool focuses on selecting a region of your image. For resizing, use our Resize Image tool after cropping. This two-step approach gives you the most control over the final result.

What aspect ratio should I use for Instagram?
